About

International Society of Latino Authors

The International Society of Latino Authors (ISLA) was founded in 2015. This membership program was created by Latino Literacy Now as a way to better help those authors, publishers, service providers, among others that have participated and continue to participate with Latino Literacy Now. Membership in the society is open to qualifying authors, publishers and service providers.

ISLA allows its members the opportunity to be part of the Empowering Speakers Bureau. This program is currently a member-only opportunity to become a guest speaker, a keynote speaker or a panel speaker at a convention, conference, festival, or any other event. This program is oversee by Linda Villaseñor and Georgette Baker. Being part of the Speakers Bureau is optional, but if an opportunity comes up and you are available, you will be contacted to speak at an event.

This helps ISLA members get more exposure and in most cases get paid for speaking at events based on the company in need of speakers. See the current speaker’ profiles at www.Speaking.news

Finally in the 21st Century the DIVERSITY of the United States is being seen for the strength it brings to our country.
